OUTLAWS TAME LIONS 36-12 AND SECURE HOME FIELD FOR FIRST ROUND

Knowing that a win would secure home field advantage for the first round of the play-offs vs TNT, the Outlaws were determined as they faced Cambridge, a team that had seemed to have their way with the Outlaws earlier in the season. The Outlaws hit fast and often in the first quarter and after 15 minutes had a 22-0 lead. Everything seemed to click this day as the blocking, tackling and still defence stopped the Lions twice on the Outlaws goal line.
The team will take a well deserved break Tuesday from practice and get back at it Thursday night in preparation of this weekends play-off game vs Tottenham.
We will have more info later this week for game time and date.

OUTLAWS STOP THE EXPRESS

A stingy defence and an offensive outburst from several players paved the way for the Outlaws to go on to a 26-0 beating of the TNT Express. The visitors were visibly frustrated as twice they marched down the field only to be stopped twice on the 2 yard line.
This game may prove to be a preview of the first round playoffs as the standings show that the Outlaws and TNT Express will face each other once again. The only question is who will get home field advantage. The Express play Mississauga this coming weekend while the Outlaws host Cambridge who currently sit in second place behind Hamilton. An Outlaw win will secure home field advantage even if TNT defeat the warriors based on point difference.
