On a day that marked the 10 year anniversary for the ORFA organization, the Bantams were looking for some revenge against the Hamilton Steelers after dropping their first meeting 27-8 a few weeks back.
The Bantams looked to be on fire in the first quarter as they scored first only to have the huge run by Mikey S called back on a penalty. The next offensive series, it seemed like a repeat of the first series, as again, Mikey broke for a huge run and a touchdown only to have it called back once again on an offensive penalty. The third time was the charm as Mikey reversed field, and rumbled in for 6 points. The conversion failed and the Outlaws had a 6-0 lead going into the 2nd qtr.
The tide turned as Hamilton suddenly woke up midway through the 2nd qtr and scored three quick touchdowns to take a 19-6 lead into half time.
The 3rd qtr started with the Outlaws defence coming out and stuffing the Hamilton offence to force a 3 and out. Unfortunately, the Steelers took a strangle hold late in the 3rd and carried on to a 34-6 win.
Next week is a bye week for the Outlaws before returning to action on July 8th when they host the TNT Express at Westside. GAME TIME IS 1:30PM
